BFFs in the blogosphere
Clem Gutatta: I love you more.
Ken Ward, Jr: No, I love you more.
Clem Gutatta: No Ken, I love you more.
It is really hard to tell who has the bigger man crush on who: Clem Gutatta over at www.wvablue.com or Ken Ward, Jr.
Before the big news late on Friday that the EPA was escalating their war on coal and the state’s largest surface mine, Ken reposted one of Clem’s bleeding-heart / empty-headed rants.
The comments are especially comical. These idiots actually think that the Obama Administration is trying to stop surface mining because of the trumped up environmental impact that they have been blathering about.
Wake up environmental whack0s!
Obama can’t get the climate change / global warming / cap and trade / pollution reduction bill passed, because no one with a brain wants to pay twice as much for energy with little to no return. Since they are not able to prove that climate change is man-made and they have nothing to trump the economic argument, President Obama and his pals over at the EPA are going to try and make energy more expensive by reducing the amount of energy produced, coal included. They can’t actually make the temperature go up, but they can make your electric bill sky-rocket.
Hopefully Congress will act fast to prevent this over-reach by the EPA and help control energy costs, but until then we will keep enjoying the love letters between Ken and Clem.

I read that love fest. Your right this is nothing but a war on coal. They have their leftest ideas of how the economy in west virgina “should be” when coal based is how it is. He has booted me from the blog many times for calling out his friends and their eco craziness. Im so glad for a blog that the miner can vent his frustrations without getting banned. The problem with MTR is that it isnt done enough. You old timers have seen this . Show me one MTR site that isnt reclaimed. Now show me a contor strip that isnt reclaimed. Thought so. It is so easy to reclaim MTR sites because when your done mining your pretty much done reclaiming. Keep up the good work and Ill try to spread the word about it here in Nicholas County.
Clem is Steven Johnson… he doesn’t even live in WV.

Ken — Thank you for your excellent coverage of today’s events.
The love affair between Ken and Clem continues…
yall are right on! Them enviro treehugger wackos are full of it. I seen those pictures of the black water that comes out of taps, and my cousins’s water smells funny and comes out red all the time, but i think they’re just jealous bcause i got a good job and bought my kids a big-screen TV last month. My granddaddy worked underground for 35 years to buy his spot on the mountain but it’s my mountain now so if I wanna blow it up, it’s my RIGHT. Those crybabies down the holler can whine all they want about flyrock and coal dust on their porches but maybe they should just MOVE. Nobody cares how long their familie’s been there! I make $57000 dollars a YEAR, I don’t care what about your treehugger sob stories.
To Scott 14 – Perhaps it was was you who asked on Ken Ward’s blog for more information on polls (WV & nationwide) concerning MTR in WV. I did post the info on Ward’s blog, but I do not know if it will appear since it is awaiting moderation (message on comment)
Here’s the two links:

and Ken’s article where he does give the link for nationwide poll at the beginning of the article:
